MENTAL WELLNESS COACHING
Scroll Down

Hey there !
Healing the soul, renewing the mind, and restoring identity...this is where your transformation begins and that is what Mental Wellness Coaches do!
WHAT IS A MENTAL WELLNESS COACH?
Mental Wellness Coaching
is a structured, evidence informed, faith honoring coaching process that helps a person move from distress to stability to growth. It integrates brief psychoeducation, habit building, values and purpose work, and spiritual practices that support calm and clarity. It is not a replacement for medical care. It is a bridge to it and a force multiplier for it.

Origin and Distinctives
Created by Dr Maxine Chi Chi Okafor, a Doctor of Nursing Practice and dual certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner, this model was built to close the gap between clinic only care and real life change. It draws from behavior science and coaching methods while honoring prayer, scripture meditation, and the ministry of encouragement. The aim is whole person transformation that sticks.

What makes Mental Wellness Coaches Different?
Mental wellness coaches go beyond traditional life coaching by addressing the whole person which is the mind, emotions, body, and spirit. While life coaches focus on goals and performance, mental wellness coaches help you identify root causes, break unhealthy patterns, and build lasting resilience so transformation is not just achieved but sustained.
